Experience — full bleed[PLACEHOLDER — B.E.E. EXPERIENCE: VITAL MIXED GROUP, PREDOMINANTLY 50+. CANDID CONVERSATION, MOVEMENT, LAUGHTER, WRITING, PLAY, PEOPLE ENGAGING WITH EACH OTHER. NO SEMINAR CHAIRS FACING A SCREEN.]

A playful,
trajectory-disrupting
adventure
disguised as a workshop.

If you're planning on being alive for another 30 or 40 years, we think they're worth doing something interesting with.

Joyful.
Epic.
Magical.

That's the intention, not a guarantee.

B.E.E. experiences create space to question old maps, notice what actually brings you alive, explore what may be keeping life smaller than it needs to be, and start creating something different.

The kinds of questions that come up:

  • What actually brings you alive?
  • What do you want more of?
  • What are you tolerating?
  • What assumptions have you inherited about age, retirement and what's “realistic”?
  • Where are fear, habit or old identities quietly choosing for you?
  • What would contribution look like now?
  • What happens if you create rather than merely consume?
  • What might become possible if you stop waiting for certainty?

We play with things like:

  • J.E.M.
  • HONEY questions
  • Calling
  • Clean-Up
  • Imagineering
  • Experiments
  • Games
  • Reflection
  • Action

We're still learning what belongs, what works, and what wants to evolve.

Don't just consume
the rest of your life.
Create it.

It's easy to drift into consuming experiences, entertainment, travel, information and time. B.E.E. asks a different question:

What are you creating?

That might be:

  • a friendship
  • a project
  • a stronger body
  • an adventure
  • a garden
  • a business
  • a contribution
  • a ridiculous new skill
  • a completely different Tuesday
Movement[PLACEHOLDER — MOVEMENT: PEOPLE OUT OF THEIR CHAIRS — WALKING, STRETCHING, DANCING, MOVING TOGETHER IN A REAL SPACE, NOT A CONFERENCE ROOM.]
Writing / experimentation[PLACEHOLDER — WRITING, DRAWING, MAPPING, EXPERIMENTING: HANDS, PAPER, PENS, MESSY THINKING MADE VISIBLE.]
Unexpected play[PLACEHOLDER — UNEXPECTED PLAYFUL ACTIVITY: SOMETHING SLIGHTLY ABSURD AND GENUINELY FUNNY HAPPENING BETWEEN ADULTS WHO DIDN'T EXPECT TO BE DOING IT.]

See differently.
Choose differently.
Live differently.

You might leave:

  • clearer about what matters
  • more willing to move
  • more curious
  • more connected
  • with an experiment to try
  • and with a few previously impossible ideas looking suspiciously possible

Three hours, a day or a weekend won't magically redesign a life.

But it can interrupt a trajectory. And sometimes that's enough to begin.

Everything
a fuck yes.

Not reckless yes.

Not saying yes to every invitation.

Not pretending everything feels amazing.

A “fuck yes” is the felt clarity of a choice that lines up with what you actually know matters.

It can be a yes. It can also be a very clean no.

The Afterlife

No, not that one.

The life you start living after the old version stops running the show.

An experience can be a threshold — not into some perfect new identity, but into more conscious choice, experimentation and participation.

What I look forward to is continued immaturity followed by death.

Post-experience social moment[PLACEHOLDER — POST-EXPERIENCE SOCIAL MOMENT: SMALL GROUP STILL TALKING, LAUGHING, EATING OR CONNECTING AFTER THE FORMAL ACTIVITY.]

An experience can be a beginning.

The BEEhive is where people, conversations, resources, experiments and possibilities can keep growing afterwards.
